COOKIES POLICY

  1. DOCUMENT

This policy describes how we (the website https://www.viatransilvanica.com/) use tracking technologies (such as cookies) on our digital platforms, what visitor information is collected automatically, and how you can accept or reject the tracking technologies we use.

The website https://www.viatransilvanica.com/ is owned by TĂȘULEASA SOCIAL ASSOCIATION, a limited liability company with its registered office at Piatra Fântânele village, 97 Obcioară street, 427363, Bistrita-Năsăud county, Romania, tax code RO13681966.

  1. WHY DO WE USE TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

We use tracking technologies on our digital platforms:

  • so that they can provide the features promised to the end user or operate more efficiently;

  • to provide improved functionality for our digital platforms;

  • to provide reporting information so that we can understand how visitors use our digital platforms and interact with our communications;

  • to segment our communications with you and provide you with a personalized experience.

  1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are an example of a tracking technology. They are small text files placed on your device when you access a digital platform and are then used to identify your device for the purposes described below. Cookies installed by the owner of a digital platform are called "first-party cookies". Cookies installed by other parties are called "third-party cookies". Third-party cookies allow third parties to provide functions or features on or through the digital platform (such as analytics, advertising, and video content). The third parties that install these third-party cookies may recognize your device both when you access our digital platform and when you visit certain other digital platforms.

Web beacons are small graphic data files (also known as "Pixel Tags" or "Clear GIFs") that may be included in our digital platforms and email messages and are usually used together with cookies to identify your device or browser and your online behavior. In particular, web beacons will not be used if you have not agreed to the use of the relevant cookie. Some of our websites and services, as well as email messages, may contain electronic images called "web beacons" (also known as "one pixel GIFs", "clear GIFs", or "pixel tags"). Web beacons allow us to count visitors who have viewed content on our websites or web pages. In email messages, web beacons allow us to count subscribers who have read them. They also allow us to develop statistical information about the activities and features that interest you most, so that we can provide more personalized content. We do not use web beacons to access personal data without your consent.
